Price guide / Guitar amps
Used guitar amp prices (UK)
What popular used models sell for in the UK, in working order. Updated September 2026.
Practice amps like the Boss Katana sell fastest. Big valve combos are heavy, so most sell collection-only.
| Model | Used, working order | How fast it sells |
|---|---|---|
| Boss Katana 50 | £110-£195 | Sells very fast |
| Boss Katana 100 / Artist | £200-£400 | Sells very fast |
| Vox AC30 | £550-£900 | Moderate |
| Orange Crush 20 | £50-£115 | Sells quickly |
Each model page has the price by condition, what to check before you buy, the usual faults and rough repair costs.
Selling one on
Boss Katana, Fender/Marshall/Vox valve combos and Orange sell same-week. Big 4x12 cabs and 100W heads are slow and awkward. Small practice amps under £40 are barely worth listing.
Heavy - collection only for anything over 15kg. Valve amps do not travel well.
