About this model
An all-in-one rekordbox system with a large touchscreen. The older XDJ-RX and RX2 are priced separately and lower.
Check both jog wheels, both USB ports and the screen, and ask for the original box. It makes a big unit much easier to post or collect.
What to check before you buy
- Every jog wheel, pad, button and encoder
- Crossfader and channel faders for scratchiness
- USB connection to a laptop with the software
- Headphone out
- Rekordbox / Serato licence status
Common faults and rough repair costs
| Fault | Fix | Rough cost |
|---|---|---|
| Faulty fader / crossfader | Medium - soldering / disassembly / YouTube guide | £8-£45 |
| USB / driver issue | Easy - DIY, no special tools | £0-£15 |
| No power | Medium - soldering / disassembly / YouTube guide | £3-£60 |
| Crackly / scratchy pots or jacks | Easy - DIY, no special tools | £5-£12 |
Selling one on
Pioneer DDJ range is extremely liquid, especially DDJ-400 / FLX4 to beginners. Numark / Hercules are slow. CDJs and XDJs are high value and sell to pros.
Boxable with original box; otherwise collection.
Where this price comes from
This is the range the flipper extension uses for a used Pioneer XDJ-RX3 in working order in the UK. It is a starting point, not a quote: condition, extras, the original box and where you are all move the price, and faulty ones sell for much less.
On a live Marketplace listing, flipper checks that range against real sold prices and live eBay listings for the exact model, works out your profit after fees and flags faults the seller mentions. It is free while in testing. Join the testers.
