About this model
A 37-key analogue synth that can play two notes at once. It replaced the Sub 37, which is priced separately.

What to check before you buy
- Every key including velocity
- Every knob / slider / encoder
- Screen backlight and contrast
- Internal battery for patches (older synths - "battery low" on boot)

Questions people ask about this model
Subsequent 37 or Sub 37?
The Subsequent 37 replaced the Sub 37 in 2017 with a better keybed and more headroom. Check the name above the keys.
What should I check on a used Subsequent 37?
Let it warm up, then check the tuning holds. Play every key, move every knob listening for crackle, and check both oscillators and the filter.
Can I post a Moog Subsequent 37?
Yes, in its original box or a padded case. It is a high-value item, so buyers often prefer to test it in person.
Selling one on
Real synths (Korg, Roland, Moog, Novation, Arturia, Nord) sell very fast. Home arranger keyboards (Yamaha PSR, Casio CT) are slow and low-margin unless free.
Boxable up to 61 keys; 76/88 key units are collection or expensive courier.
Where this price comes from
This is the range the flipper extension uses for a used Moog Subsequent 37 in working order in the UK. It is a starting point, not a quote: condition, extras, the original box and where you are all move the price, and faulty ones sell for much less.
The condition bands above are the same multipliers the extension applies to a listing. On a live Marketplace listing, flipper checks that range against real sold prices and live eBay listings for the exact model, works out your profit after fees and flags faults the seller mentions. It is free while in testing. Join the testers.
Buying one to keep? The bands above are a fair price to pay for each condition. See how to check a listing.
